Why Hearts for Kenya?

One thing that has to be really focused on, is the question - “Why Kenya?” A formative handful of people became aware of the serious needs of the people of rural Kenya, West Africa. Hearts for Kenya was born. In life one learns that you cannot save the world; you have to pick your battles. Only a few are willing and able to travel the world helping people. There are many who can stay and serve the local needs. Hearts for Kenya believes that if good is being done in some local place, why is it any less important than the good being done in another place?
