What is it we do?

Lao Tzu, a famous Chinese philosopher is known to have said, "Give a Man a Fish, Feed Him For a Day. Teach a Man to Fish, Feed Him For a Lifetime." Hearts4Kenya is focused on “teaching for a lifetime” one rural community, Oyugis, Kenya, West Africa. By sharing modern agricultural practices with the citizens of Oyugis, the people are learning to be self-sufficient while raising their standard of living. Hearts4Kenya firmly believes that not only do the people of Oyugis become self-sufficient and are able to survive without being provided for, but they have a sense of achievement and fulfillment.
